At the Buxton Fringe 2008 at St John's Church City of Manchester Opera presented:

Mascagni - Cavalleria Rusticana (complete concert performance) plus
Popular opera arias and choruses


and won an award for Best Fringe Musical Event

City of Manchester Opera is a semi professional chorus composed mainly of those who are soloists in their own right. The company provides its own soloists from the 30 strong chorus and has performances in the past at the London Coliseum – home of English National Opera - to its credit.
"COMO" always sings in the original language of the work (often with surtitles).
