"Our intention is to present the meaning and to communicate these wonderful pieces (arias and choruses), stripped of evening wear, and given new relevance in all their "naked" glory." (And usually with a twist of humour!)
These shots are my first attempt at No Flash theatre photograph with only a (very noisy) ISO 320 available. Olympus E20 - ISO 320 - RAW format - PPd in Qimage then reprocessed with Nikon Capture NX. All are f.2-2-4 around 1/60th. Other shots are E20 with flash.
North Star Opera produces high quality opera in the North West of England with a small cast of invited singers (me among them).
